Dogtag Sport covers a wide range of sports and activities including Winter sports as standard. There are a few exceptions however (see ** below for a summary) and these can be covered with our Adventure Sports upgrade.

**Adventure Sports upgrade removes the following general exclusions:
#5 Piloting or learning to pilot or acting as a member of the crew of any aircraft;
#13 Participation as a professional in athletics (applies to Part A of the Policy Details only);
#14 Participating in bodily contact sports; skydiving; hang gliding; parachuting; mountaineering; any race; bungee cord jumping; and speed contest (applies to Part A of the Policy Details only)

You must purchase your policy at least 24 hours prior to your first departure. The Trip Cancellation element of your coverage for all arranged trips commences at 12:01 the day after the premium is paid so this is the Effective date of your coverage for the purpose of Cancellation coverage.

However, all other elements of coverage begin on the first day of any trip that you make within the coverage year. Annual Multi-Trip covers you for multiple trips over the course of a whole year. Most people choose to start an Annual policy immediately (ie, 24 hours from purchase) if no trip arrangements have been made yet but you may also choose a start date of the first day of your first arranged trip.

Coverage may be purchased by residents of all US and Canadian states with the exception of Oregon and New York where local state legislation prevents the purchase of this coverage.

The dates of birth of the people for whom you wish to purchase coverage helps us in calculating the correct rate for you your coverage.
