When buying an insurance policy, we ask for your:
  • E-mail subscriptions: If you would like be kept up to date with information on Dogtag products and services then let us know. Don't worry, we won't send you any information unless you want it. You will also always be given the opportunity change your mind and unsubscribe to these type of e-mails.

Optional Medical Information
When you buy an insurance policy, you have the option to provide health information about you and your family. We will store these medical details for you on this website so that medics, via your Dogtag I.D., cand access them in case of a medical emergency. The information you record here may be accessible to anyone in possession of your Dogtag so when you are not wearing your Dogtag you must take care to ensure that it is not lost or stolen. Your personal data such as your address will never be disclosed on the Medical Information facility.

Contact Form
When contacting us, we ask for your name and e-mail address. We will only use this information for reply purposes. It won’t be added to any database and used for future marketing purposes.

Other Uses of Information
Our associates will need to process the data you provide to fulfil your insurance policy. They are: (1): The fulfillment service that despatches your insurance policy pack. (2): The insurance arranger (Travel Guard) with whom we share details of every policy issued. (3): The insurer that underwrites your policy and operates our emergency assistance service and claims handling. These companies, like Dogtag, adhere to the above legislation and directives and will act only on our instructions. They will not hold or use the information in any way other than for the purposes of administering your insurance policy.


We also use information acquired through the website to better understand how the website is being used and how it can be improved. This type of data is called ‘aggregate data’ and does not identify individuals. Instead it highlights trends e.g. number of website visitors.
